Wondering about time commitments, membership, and other specifics?
The Seattle Hub is a vibrant community of civic leaders, business innovators, and nonprofit organizers, united by a continual desire to improve the world, a willingness to instigate new things and take risks, and a commitment to helping our fellow Shapers achieve their goals. Our projects in the Greater Seattle Area have addressed climate justice, COVID-19 relief, and land repatriation. We also engage with the international Shaper network on initiatives such as supporting the refugee team at the 2016 Olympics, promoting blood drives, and encouraging voter registration.
We empower Seattle's young and diverse changemakers to connect, innovate, and collaborate locally and globally for lasting social and cultural impact.
Successful applicants to the Seattle hub are:
Between 18-27 years-old
Residents of the Greater Seattle Area
Able to travel for local in-person gatherings and events
Committed to staying engaged throughout the year
Committed to working with peers to improve our community
Willing to develop their leadership potential
Willing to support fellow Shapers in their personal and professional development
Ready to engage in the hub community and those we partners with and serve and follow the Global Shapers Community Charter
Open to engage in active communication with the Hub, their peers, and the communities we partner with and serve
